Az érzelmek a logikus gondolkodásban is jelen vannak, sőt, hiányukat éppen a racionális gondolkodás sínyli meg elsősorban. És ez nemcsak a pozitív érzelmekre érvényes: egy rossz hangulat vagy hirtelen düh javíthatja gondolkodásunk minőségét, és akár az üzleti döntéshozatalban is segíthet.
